Noah has decided this year he wants to decorate the tree. Actually, he is alot better at undecorating. He doesn't remove the ornaments all at once, but he does wait until you are not looking. The boy might not be able to speak in full sentences but he knows when something is right and wrong. Since he was unable to walk his first Christmas, he is making sure he brakes enough stuff to cover last year as well. Me and Char had to take the Christmas balls off of the tree because Noah mistook them for baseballs. There is one thing we learned besides the fact that he has a good arm and that is Christmas balls do not bounce off of the fireplace, especially when hurled at a high rate of speed. For Noah though, the crashing of glass off of the wall is great entertainment. The Christmas season this year has been great with Noah being able to recognize everything going on around him. He really likes the lights and gets really angry when you bring him inside. (I think he has his mother's temper, but we won't tell anyone). Anyway I am pretty sure we go through what every other parent goes through at this stage of their child's life especailly this time of the year. We could have put a barrier around the tree but what kind of fun would that be. At least this way, he keeps us on our toes. By the way right after this picture was taken, Noah thought it would be really cool to jump out of the chair. He didn't land on his feet, but he thought it was funny. Who knows what he will do next.

Number 2 is on the way

No photos with this one sorry. We are now breaking our silence to say we are expecting our second little one! I (David) actually broke it quite a few times before but who's counting right? Char won't admit it, but I am sure she told a few as well. It is very exciting to know that Noah will have a new brother/sister running around the house soon. Maybe we will have some photos to put up in the near future.

Noah is now 16 months old. He has grown up so much over the past 7 months. He no longer walks anywhere, he runs (sometimes he falls, but he is getting better). He is trying to say alot of words but the one he is really good at is "No". Another favorite is when the Bulldogs score a touchdown and he yells out "tut down" and jumps up and down. Rather than describe how much he has grown, we figured we would show you. Hope you enjoy the photos.

PUMPKIN PATCH

We all went to the pumpkin on Sunday. It was our family and my sister's family. It was a blast. We went to Southern Belle Farm in McDonough, and we were able to all sorts of things. We went through one part of a corn maze (Michael and Colby were the leaders.) We picked cotton, rode on a hayride, watched piglet races, and found our own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. While Michael, Colby, and Ruby were finding their pumpkins, Noah had a ball climbing on the mounds and throwing the small pumpkins like baseballs. Noah also had his first encounter with a cow, some goats, and a donkey. He was in his mama's neck of the woods. I think Noah's favorite part was a toss up between the animals and the pumpkin patch. He also thought it was funny when the piglets ran by during the races. Anyway, we all had a blast, and I think it may become an annual trip. I hope you enjoy the pictures of our little outting.

First Haircut

So we went to my mom's tonight for us to have barber shop night. David got his haircut, I got my gray covered, and Noah got his first haircut. Yes, we cut off his rat tail. He is not a little redneck anymore. I decided it was time when David starting saying it looked like he had a mullet. It was a hassle, but it got cut. We started outside in the chair. He was fine until Mom started putting the scissors against his neck. Then, we moved to the bathtub. When we got there I did not know that my mom had snuck him an oreo. After she cut a little bit and bathed him, she finished the last few snips by having sit in on bathroom counter. Hopefully, we can wait a little while before he needs another.

Me and RuRu

Ruby came over to play a last Saturday. Noah had a ball following her around and copying everything she did. Here are a couple pictures of the two. She also came over yesterday, and when Crystal get to the house Ruby did not want to go. Crystal tried to tell he rthat she was going to spend the night with Granny and PawPaw and play with Champ (their englush bulldog), but she did not want to go. So after pulling out of the driveway and pretending to leave, Crystal drove back down to get Ruby. She told Ruby they were going to get a milkshake and she couldn't get one if she didn't come. Ruby said,"I don't want one. Dey make me frow up." Crystal finally just put her in the car. Is she not a smart little thing or what?

It's been awhile.

First Trip to the Beach

We went down to Mexico Beach, Florida for a week. It was crazy with 11 people in our house. In the house was our family(3), my sister's family(5), David's parents, and David's grandmother. I miss the beach, but I am glad to be home.


Noah preferred to be on the beach in the evenings.
