First Ski Trip

We went on ski trip this past weekend. Those who decided to partake in the adventure were (of course) David, Noah and me. Then there was my mom, my brother, and my brother's friend. We stayed at my Uncle's house in Harrisonburg, VA. We left at 12:30 Sunday morning to head up. When we got to Roanoke, Va, we had to pick up my brother and his friend from the airport. (They were to good to ride 12 hours in the car with us.) We got there about three hours before their plane landed. It really turned out great because we found a mall, and Noah was able to run around and play for awhile. When we first got there (at 10:30) the doors to the mall were open, but none of the stores opened until 12:00. There wasn't hardly anyone there so Noah was able to run up and down the halls. He thought it was the best thing. Anyway, we made it to our destination at about 3:00 Sunday afternoon. Noah had a good time playing with the dogs, and running around the ski lodge. He went out and played in the snow some, but the only snow was the man made snow on the mountain. Noah was a trooper and was excellent considering he was back and forth in the car and was staying in a home that is not use to children. We left VA around 9:30 Tuesday night. We dropped my brother and his friend off at the airport, and then we started our adventure back home. We got home about 8:00 Wednesday morning. Once again Noah amazed me. He slept until we got to Atlanta, even then he did not fuss one time. Anyway, enough blabbing, here are some picutures of Noah from the trip.
Getting ready for the slopes.

These were some long hard days.

Eating in the lodge.

Noah really wanted some skis. We may try next year.

Going on a very short hike. Noah did not want to leave. Apparently he was not as cold as the rest of us.
