Happy Fourth of July

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. We were able to relax and be lazy in the morning. Then, we went to David's parents to celebrate his mom's birthday. While there all the kids and most of the adults went swimming in their new pool. Noah had a blast. He wanted to jump off the side into the pool, and then he wanted to get out when he wasn't allowed. After the birthday celebration we went to the high school to watch the fireworks. I was a little nervous about how the kids (it feels weird saying "kids") would react. They did fine. Noah was thrilled and loved it. Eden started to fall asleep. That was until she decided she was hungry. She may be a little thing, but she has a BIG appetite. Last week we went to the dr. to see if she was up to her birth weight. She was up to 6 lbs. and 14 oz. I can already see her features starting to change, and I can tell she is really putting on some weight. This is good because her big brother doesn't yet understand that he doesn't have to lay on top of her to give her love. (Side note: At his 2 year check up Noah was 36 lbs.) Noah is still in love with his sister. Whenever we go somewhere he says, "Where Sister?" In the morning he always rolls over to kiss his sister and says, "old er." When she cries, he tells me to pick her up, and loves for all three of us to sit in the rocking chair and read. So far he has been a great big brother. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
